The school is organized by the Laboratory for experimental and behavioural economics of the National Research University — Higher School of Economics (HSE, Moscow, Russia)
The general aim of the Summer School is to involve the new generation of researchers in the field of behavioral economics and economic psychology, to provide participants with an interdisciplinary and open-minded view of the study of economic behavior and economic issues, to facilitate better mutual understanding of young economists and psychologists; to promote future interdisciplinary and international collaboration in the field.
Dear participants, dear guests!
The school is now officially over - thank you for your time, enthusiasm and efforts.
All the materials we have and are legally allowed to made public is uploaded in this website (Schedule of the School and Schedule of the Conference, respectively). Should you have anything else to communicate, please contact the organisers.
With best wishes,
Elena & Alexis
Media reports about the mini-conference "Rationality, behaviour and experiments" and the Summer school (in Russian) are available at
Dear Summer School Participants,
As agreed at the Farewell meeting, we would kindly ask you to complete the School questionnaire located here and using the password sent to you via our mailing list to enter this site. The questionnaire is anonymous: you are not requested to disclose your identity, although you may want to do so.
Some of you were asking us where they can buy some souvenirs with HSE logo, such as T-shirts, caps or mugs. You can get them either at a student-operating http://hseshop.ru (unfortunately, the site appears to be in Russian only), or at the bookstore БукВышка, based at Myasnitskaya str, 20 (same buliding as HSE). This shop is open Monday till Friday, 10 am-8pm, or Saturday, 10 am-7pm.
Remembering the past...
It has been suggested by some of you that it might be interesting to have a night (or evening) of Russian movies - where you (together with us) might be given a chance to watch one of the classical Soviet/Russian film with English subtitles. A colleague of ours has drawn up a list of such possible movies (I hope further information on them can be found in the internet!). Should you have any preference over that list, or would like to report otherwise to that initiative, please let us know.
Летят журавли (Михаил Калатозов, 1957)
The Summer School participants have been approached by a team of researchers who work on a project aimed at applying the knowledge from behavioural economics to develop a series of hypotheses on consumer choice in regard to environmental goods and services. This project is supported by the European Commission; further information is available in the attached presentation.
Presentation time and order are in columns H and I, respectively
