Souvenirs from HSE

Dear All,

Some of you were asking us where they can buy some souvenirs with HSE logo, such as T-shirts, caps or mugs. You can get them either at a student-operating http://hseshop.ru (unfortunately, the site appears to be in Russian only), or at the bookstore БукВышка, based at Myasnitskaya str, 20 (same buliding as HSE). This shop is open Monday till Friday, 10 am-8pm, or Saturday, 10 am-7pm.

Russian movies night

Dear colleagues,

It has been suggested by some of you that it might be interesting to have a night (or evening) of Russian movies - where you (together with us) might be given a chance to watch one of the classical Soviet/Russian film with English subtitles. A colleague of ours has drawn up a list of such possible movies (I hope further information on them can be found in the internet!). Should you have any preference over that list, or would like to report otherwise to that initiative, please let us know.

Летят журавли (Михаил Калатозов, 1957)
